Therapy and Consultation for High-Achieving Women in Indiana

I provide therapy and consultation for women experiencing emotional eating, binge eating, and/or chronic overwhelm related to perfectionism and people-pleasing, who want to feel more in control around food and less overwhelmed by the pressure to do it all.

Who I Help:
High-Achieving Women Experiencing Food Struggles, Perfectionism & Overwhelm

I often work with high-achieving women who are used to being capable, dependable, and the person others count on. Many are professionals, leaders, caregivers, business owners, or women balancing demanding careers with family responsibilities.

They often hold themselves to very high standards and struggle with perfectionism, people-pleasing, self-criticism, difficulty setting boundaries, and putting their own needs last. On the outside, they may appear successful and in control, while internally they feel overwhelmed, exhausted, anxious, or frustrated that they can’t seem to “figure this out” on their own.

Some come to therapy because these patterns are showing up around food through emotional eating, binge eating, overeating, constant thoughts about food, or feeling out of control around eating. Others notice them more through chronic overwhelm, including the pressure to do everything well, take care of everyone else, and keep everything together. Many experience both.

Hi! I’m Dr. Jessica.

Maybe it felt like the therapy focused more on surface-level solutions than the deeper patterns keeping you stuck. Or perhaps it was hard to feel truly seen and understood, leaving you hesitant to try again.

Here’s how my approach is different:

  • We’ll work together to uncover the root of your struggles, not just manage the symptoms.
  • I bring a blend of tools like Internal Family Systems, Acceptance & Commitment Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, mindfulness, and interpersonal processing to create a personalized approach for your unique needs.
  • I balance challenging you to grow with kindness, humor, and warmth, so you feel supported and encouraged every step of the way.
  • And most importantly, therapy with me is a judgment-free zone. You don’t have to “have it all together” or show up perfectly—it’s okay to come as you are.

A Note About the Process

This work isn’t always easy, but it’s deeply transformative. With kindness, humor, and practical tools, I’ll guide you step by step toward a life that feels lighter, more balanced, and authentic to you.

Imagine if, six months from now, you’re still feeling stuck in the same cycle—overwhelmed, drained, and trying to hold it all together while wondering if things will ever change.

But it doesn’t have to be this way.

Right now, you might be thinking this sounds like a good idea and that you’ll call next week.

But future you is begging you not to wait.

Whether you work with me or someone else, you don’t have to keep carrying this weight alone.

Your transformation isn’t about creating a picture-perfect life—it’s about breaking free from the relentless cycle of perfectionism and people-pleasing.

Your Transformation Begins Here

Imagine a life where you’re no longer weighed down by perfectionism and people-pleasing:

  • Wake up each day with calmness and clarity, free from the relentless cycle of anxiety and self-doubt.
  • Feel lighter and more at peace, finally breaking free from the crushing weight of impossible expectations.
  • Nurture deeper, more meaningful relationships, setting boundaries that protect your peace and allow you to show up authentically.

Therapy Can Help You…

  • Break free from the mental and emotional weight of guilt, shame, and self-criticism, replacing it with calm confidence and compassion.
  • Reconnect with your authentic self, letting go of the pressure to meet others’ expectations and embracing imperfection with grace.
  • Release the grip of perfectionism, learning to treat yourself with kindness, embrace your imperfections, and feel comfortable in your own skin.
  • Reclaim control and calm in your life, shedding the constant guilt and worry about letting others down.
  • Confidently prioritize your needs, setting boundaries without fear or guilt, and honoring your well-being.
